The location of the hotel was convenient to all amenities provided by the town of Albany, located in Southwest Georgia.. I would have to say that the most pleasant thing about my room was the bed and pillows.. pillows were like clouds.. The bathroom is outdated, every corner and line of things bathroom is filled with caulk , even around the toilet.. it leaks.. The carpeting throughout is dated and for some odd reason felt damp under my feet ? Continental breakfast is less than desirable.. basic waffle grill, free package cereal and muffins, coffee and juice.. Would I stay here again.. probably not..

The room was a King bed suite type of room from the 1970's!!!!!! The refrigerator, stove, sinks....everything was OLD AND OUTDATED!!!! The windows had no curtains and blinds that fit only HALF of the window! The sinks dripped water and had to be maneuvered to an off position! The sheets were OFF WHITE with a brownish stain in the middle! It was after midnight and we just too exhausted to move rooms AGAIN!!! I used my clorox wipes to clean the bathroom and wipe down everything. I used my Lysol spray on the bedspread and chair where we sat out things! The guy that was on duty said that the cleaning is not up to standard because of high turnover, and its worse there than other places. He said they are working on getting the hotel up to standard with cleaning and other areas!!! WE SLEPT ON TOP of the bedspread and used our own blanket! We were out of there IMMEDIATELY at 6am!!! DO NOT BOOK HERE!!! THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED!!!! Hotels.com owes us a REFUND!!!!

We booked this hotel specifically for the pool, we arroved and was told it was out of order. The bathrooms and carpet need replaced-stains yuk! The toilets squeeled when flushed and our room phone dodnt work when I jeeded tp call the front desk.

Staff was very nice and the room was fine. Unfortunately, the bed was very uncomfortable. It slid downhill from right to left so both my husband and I slept on a slant all night. While the hotel was fine, I wouldn’t stay here again because of the bed and wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast left a bit to be desired, but to be fair, it was a Sunday. The coffee was good, though. The room was nicely furnished, and even had a fridge and microwave, which was very convenient. I'd stay there again for sure!

My room was nice I didn't like the mildew, sour smell inside my room which was unbearable when you first entered the room. I feel they kept the room extra cold to minimize the odor, but that's an epic fail. The carpet needs to be shampoo and thoroughly clean.

Check in was flawless. Room was ok. Needed a good cleaning. Breakfast was posted that it was open until10:00 am. When going to get breakfast at 9:15 am it was closed. There was a person that was rude about the signage. Stating that they should hav3 taken it down.

The area around the hotel is perfect. The hotel itself not so much. The entire bathroom needs to be redone. The rooms stink. The sheets on the beds are discolored and the beds are uncomfortable. The television doesn’t work. I could go on and on. My teenager said she would rather sleep in the car. Never again would I stay here.

This hotel was rated a 3 star however needs to be rated a 2 star. The location and area was excellent. The lobby, breakfast/sitting area and hallways were neat and clean with no unpleasant odors. The room was neat and clean when you walked in, however the drawers had old food in them, the refrigerator needed to be wiped, not having adequate towels and no hair dyer. I discussed the above with the young man at the desk and he stated he would let the housekeeping supervisor know. The young man provided the towels we needed. I asked the young man about there full breakfast the hotel offers the young man stated the breakfast is more a grab and go. I expressed that the hotel web site needs to be updated, as we ended up going to IHOP. A male guest was at the end of the hallway vaporing and this hotel is a smoke free facility.

They had a pool but we didn’t swim I took advantage of their small gym area & used the treadmill. The sauna is a room off of the gym. Decent to navigate to the hotel. It is an older hotel which is fine but it needed more cleaning. Our room was cleaned but still could have used another vacuum. The walls looked like they needed a good washing and/or a repaint. The floor in the hallway has several large stained spots. Overall I would give it a 5.5/10 for cleanliness. The breakfast was good with you make waffles, yogurt, fruit cups, instant oatmeal and grits, plus cereal. Not much for condiments to put on the waffles. It was pretty clean, no complaints. My biggest complaint was my uncle's room was canceled and no one seemed to know why. He had to go get another room at a different hotel from the family. Not acceptable. Very disappointing.

One nice thing is the room door was inside the hallway. Room temperature was set to a cool 62 when it was around 45 outside. Heat work well and warmed up in about 5-10 minutes. Parking was easy.

Exhausted from the evening, I arrived back to the hotel extremely late. It was quiet (thumbs up) so I knocked out atop the bed. A few hours later awake to prepare for the day and as I go to shower, I found that it doesn’t work. I go to the front desk and they were very apologetic and made sure that a room change was made asap. They brought a luggage cart and new room keys promptly. After gathering our belongings we went to the new room gave another inspection. The shower worked but was not made for someone tall. Overall the property needs renovating and rooms need updating. The staff was great and understanding.

The first assigned room reeked of sour milk. Could not even walk in. Second assigned room, upstairs, was very hot upon entry, but cooled off satisfactory. We reported out of face tissue, but none was replaced. Hot breakfast had been replaced with grab and go since last time we visited here.

The couch in my room has two big brown stains where someone had soiled their pants ! The bed was okay . I could see people walking by from inside the room because of the gap around the door ! I was not sure I was safe ! I saw one roach !

This property could be a five star, but it needs a lot of upgrades. The carpets had spots and were nasty in the hole we got in the first room. The sheets were stained. There was no Phone we got in the second room. There was no shower curtain in the sheets were stained this car. This property needs a serious upgrade.

Check out was stateted as noon. Got a Knock on the door at 10:30am that cancelled one person in room sleeping in. I told them we would check out at noon. 11:30 another knock then walked right in. Unexceptable

The carpet was filthy, the accessories were dusty, no continental breakfast, no wash clothes, room had foul odor from water leaking air conditioner unit in front of window causing wet carpet accompanied by foul odor, and the bed had sink in the middle, and the linen was stained and dingy. The staff were great and very apologetic.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very convenient to get into and out of. Room was dark at night, which was a plus for me.

The hotel staff was good. The pool had no water. I requested housekeeping during my stay. They never came. A small roach was noted in the shower on my last day there.

All was good with our overnight stay. Even the breakfast was good. Except there was no fruit, not even bananas. I am on a special diet, and fruit is always a good option, at any time of the day.

It was a great hotel for the price. Rooms were older, but they were clean and beds comfortable. Right in the area with plenty of food choices and shopping. Would stay again!

It was a comfortable overnight, passing though place. Originally was given key to an occupied room with the strong smelled of marijuana through the door but the desk attendant easily found an available room.

The overweight cross-eyed girl that looks like she does every menial job in the hotel badgered my company asking which room we were in for breakfast like we just walked off of the street. The bad things is I had spoken to her at least 3-4 times because my room was horrible. NO INTERNET and the sink would not drain so we had to switch rooms. Horrible experience and for the staff to get upset and slam the breakfast room door as hard as she can was very troubling. My friend thinks she has many mental issues going on. That is not how people behave at work.

After I rejected the first room, they offered another room. Exact same problem! It took us five rooms to find a room that was not nasty. I would’ve left if it wasn’t midnight, but I was too tired to fight it. Staff were helpful.

Our check in was fine as the young lady behind the desk was friendly and efficient. However, even though there are signs posted everywhere that this is a non-smoking property, the lobby area had a strong odor of cigarette smoke and once we exited the elevator, a nearby stairwell REEKED of Marijuana. Additionally, the carpets in the hallways were quite dirtly. Not only do the carpets need vaccuming, they also need to cleaned. In fact, the hotel should really look into replacing them. Several paint stains were visible - downstairs and upstairs. Luckily, our room smelled fresh, it appeared to be clean, and the mattresses were fairly comfortable. Lastly, when we arrived at the front desk to check out, the young lady didn't even acknowlege us for a minute. When she finally did, she was not particularly friendly. Thankfully, this was a quick, overnight trip to visit family. Otherwise, I don't think I would have stayed longer than the one night. Furthermore, I don't think I'll stay here again.

It was in a good location and peaceful. Carpet in hallway needs change in some areas. Room was clean but pillow cases wasn’t completely changed from person before. Experience was good. I would stay there again.

No hot water in shower. Beds are very old with toppers on them. Clean enough. Staff very nice. Lots of nice upgrades. Very nice looking but big misses on mattress and bathrooms are very old. Breakfast was great. A very mixed review.

Arrived, checked in and went to the room we were given. I always check out the sheets before I stay in the room. There were semen on the comforter and it had gone down to the sheet. The young lady at the desk changed our room . I have photos of both of the rooms. It’s not a place I will ever stay again!

We got there late in the evening and I was given the wrong room, but I didn’t bother with it until the morning and when I went to guest services, they exchanged my room with no problems at all. The lady was very friendly.

They all smile and speak nicely to everyone. They are masters at multitasking while being polite and accommodating. A plus for the front desk ‼️

Non-smoking room smells like a smoking room and musty. Does not feel clean. Someone opened the door in the morning as they gave our room to another customer as the morning front clerk was told by the night person that we checked in but we are not there? No extra pillows.

Regina was wonderful and so inviting. From the time i walked in the building she was nothing but kind and accommodating. Courtney was kind and such an old soul. Everyone was so so kind!!!

We think that for the most part this facility was excellent. The breakfast was wonderful. The staff was friendly & helpful. I was disappointed that there was no hair dryer in the room.

Rude owners they don’t do early check in everyone work there have a special need slow tpo the point where they need to not be left alone at night with the proper job training the room has bloody sheets the breakfast wasn’t a full breakfast they start late and runs out of breakfast early so backwards breakfast lady rude the house keepers rude deck clerk rude owner rude never no clean rags no phone to use in room key card works sometimes pool is not fulled or clean properly they just need to close down and they had roaches small tv screen and the knob on tub was broken and air conditioner unit barely working

Our stay in all was great. Our only downfall was the staff member at check (us walking out of the room) yelling and having an attitude because we left a drawer open to indicate that there were items left behind. And telling us we could have taken them out… First off, the items did not belong to us. Secondly, I did her a favor in making sure the room was properly cleaned for the next guest, who actually might want to use the furniture unlike us. But the place nice. Location wonderful.

Traveled to Albany from my daughter's college orientation. Checked in late at night, but we were able to get up early and get breakfast. The staff was great

I liked the convenience of the property to Albany State University. I liked the txt checkout option. I did not like esthetics (bathroom needs renovating).
