We had a great stay when we came to Oakland for a concert. The airport shuttle was quick and easy and very reasonably priced at $10 per room. The breakfast was nice and hotel well kept. It was in a nice area of town and a great hotel to stay at. Thank you!

Nice clean room, spacious, huge walk in shower. Shuttle for a charge and waited longer than anticipated as it's not continuous but associated with Holiday Inn Express. Hotel isolated from eateries in area, but Bistro staff pleasant although food selection overpriced.

The $200 deposit is not advertised on the website, and came as an unexpected expense. Everything else was great.

This location was horrible I was charged for a booking that I wasn’t even able to cancel before they charged my card 190.1, On top of that I wasn’t even accommodated with the room I had reserved for,the manager nicol and her staff was horrible beside a sweet young lady that worked over night, with her kind and warm spirit I wished I got her name, no type of customer service

Clean comfy room. Staff is great. Complimentary breakfast was better than most. Parking spaces cost $. Only complaint was 2nd floor ice machine was not working but staff brought ice to our room. Definitely my stay to when I’m in that area.

Couple of things that property can work on: 1) room 205 AC fan noise - little too loud 2) accessible shower head keeps on rotating to one side & since I was staring in the tub while showering I had to constantly keep on adjusting the shower head - buy a Costco one with magnet so that an able bodied person can also take shower in accessible tub. 3) Printer was not able to connect to my laptop (as there is no computer with printer in the lobby). Then I had to email my file to staff to get prints.

We only booked for a night because of our visit to UC Berkeley and it was an amazing stay! The rooms were very clean and organized. Staff were nice and they welcomed us with waters. Breakfast was complimentary which was very good and delicious! We had a peaceful stay and the area was calm and peaceful as well. The parking was the $20 a night which was not bad at all. There was always a parking spot at any time of the day. If you would like to use the pool I do have to mention that it was very small and the jacuzzi bubbles were not working but other than that everything was perfect!

There were 4 of us in the smallest room ever (think cruise ship) and we all had to squeeze into 2 full sized beds. My son is 6’7” and I’m 6’2”. Thankfully, the other 2 family members are slightly smaller. I just ask for honesty and transparency. Don’t sell me a lie. As a side note, the wall air conditioning unit is super loud, the toilet runs nonstop, and there are no screens or window locks on any of the 3 (yes, 3) layers of windows. Our room was on the 3rd floor. Very unsettling for a family.

The place was clan, affordable and we enjoyed our stay! The complimentary breakfast that was served in the morning went far above my expectations, oh! And there’s a bar in the place too! (but it closes early, like at 9:00 I think)

Just minutes to walk along the bay, it’s the only location near the airport that you can feel safe walking in the evening. They are renovating their rooms and lobby and it’s looking really good. Staff was very helpful both times we’ve stayed there and we intend to stay there again when we visit the Bay Area.

Their web site say free shuttle and free parking but that is not the cas. We were charged 410 for the shuttle and $20 a day for parking

We did not have time for the Pool or Hot Tub, Staff was nice & easy check in. Renovating was happening infront, and room was clean (but found an Opened Safety pin on the carpet) in our room. Other than that, everything worked out well, would stay again

But there was front entrance remodel going on that we should have been told about ahead of time. We arrived in pouring rain, ran to front entrance..locked, finally saw handwritten sign directing us to back door which wasn't easy to find. After dark signage needs improvement.

Stayed here the night as we had an early flight to Kauai and the Hampton has a shuttle to Oakland airport as well as a free buffet breakfast. It was quiet (no jet noise) and clean. We would stay here again if flying out of Oakland.

Please include directions on your hvac (wall unit) remote control and how to get the system to work. I struggled greatly with the remote and there are not directions for use. Otherwise, only good reviews!!

Great start to our vacation. Staff was friendly, efficient and accommodating. Bar area was great too, but lighting was too bright, especially when trying to watch the tv's. Dimmer lightning would also create a more relaxing atmosphere.

Always reliable, this is our 7th or 8th time staying at this property when we visit grandkids on Bay Farm. Room is always clean, plenty of space, breakfast always nice options (although plain yogurt would be a plus), so we'll be back!

When we brought this to the attention of the front desk, we were informed that nothing could be done, as management was not on-site until the next morning. We were also told that they knowingly placed us in a room they could not rent out. Instead of being moved or offered a resolution, we were handed a small fan and told we could not leave or be relocated. This was our only night at the property before continuing our trip to Jawaii the next morning at 6 AM. What should have been a brief and restful stop turned into a frustrating and uncomfortable experience. We were not contacted proactively about a resolution. In fact, we had to call back ourselves — multiple times — during our vacation, just to get any form of follow-up. Each time, we were told that a manager was still unavailable. It took five full days before we finally received a return call. This situation caused significant and unnecessary stress, especially given the fact that this was our only opportunity to rest before and after long travel days. I am sorry to contact you with bad comments. We arrive after driving almost 7 hours from our hometown Colton California. We were tired and wanted to relax. We noticed some ants on the coffee table in our room and on the table between the beds. I cleaned the tables with the towels and I thought the problem was solved. The following morning there was more ants than the day prior. Also I saw some dry boogers on the restroom, IT WAS DISGUSTING.I told the lady from the front desk and she did not offer a sorry or apology. Sad Sad. NOT PROFESSIONAL. I WOULD LIKE TO REQUEST A REIMBURSTMENT FOR ALL THIS INCIDENTS.

The entire staff of this hotel at day and evening shifts were exceptional in prompt checkin and handling my needs and questions throughout our stay. Terri, Nichol, and Aikko were very helpful. Accommodations were consistent with Hampton quality properties. Breakfast choices and friendly server were also quality features.

This property is very quiet. There’s definitely no food places close by you have to drive almost 10 minutes or more away just to get food. It’s in a business area.

This property is very nice. Everyone that works there was so nice and helpful. I needed to add more days because my house was not finished being worked on. They helped me make sure that I was able to keep the same room. I would definitely stay here again.

I had an early flight and wanted to stay by the airport. This Hampton Inn was perfect. Located in Alameda five minutes from the airport, on the bay and not on Hagenberger Road, I had no idea this hotel was even here. I love Hampton Inn & Suites for the breakfast in the morning and coffee/tea service all day (though I departed before breakfast). I also appreciate the bar and restaurant they have available, so I disntbhave to leave for dinner. The room was well appointed and clean, though it didn't have a USB outlet in the room, which Ive gotten used to. The staff was friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay again.

A great hotel and nice breakfast. However please check Rm 205 bathroom - I think a molding needs to be done around the wall where it meets the floor.

Room was nice size. We ended up staying at hotel for dinner. Burgers & sandwiches were delicious and reasonably priced. Only 1 waitress/bar tender so things took a while. Would highly recommend.

After flight delays and traveling with 4 children I finally arrived to find that my reservation was double booked and the price was not changed tot he smaller room I took to be able to get my children the rest they needed after a long travel

Front desk check in was very positive experience. Staff super friendly and accomodating. We requested an early check in and was able to provide. Upon going to the room - the carpet was obviously not vacuumed yet. One of the towels in the bathroom was stained (something red). The pool had debris so we decided not to try the hot tub. The offerings at the continental breakfast were plentiful.

Horrible. They do not have a fridge or microwave in the room. Front desk would not answer the phone in the morning. Diamond member parking was nowhere near the front entrance. They do not do late check out.

Front desk was very unsure of everything when we arrived. They just randomly put a sign up that says they charge for the shuttle now. Never did that before. The website says $10 a day for extended parking but the little sign they made says 16 and they wouldn’t honor the website. Will not be staying at this hotel anymore. This used to be our go to for Oakland airport.

My stay at this hotel was ok. My only complaint was that I had to schedule to have my room cleaned. That was never told to me during check in, so for my 3 night stay my room was only cleaned once.

It was a last-minute stop at this property, but I’m so glad I chose it. The front desk staff were incredibly polite and welcoming — they made me feel right at home. They answered all my questions patiently, and the check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. Great service overall!
