    The hotel was clean. There was no one at the front desk. The sign said to use the phone to call front desk. It took me a minute to find the phone. It was not near the front desk. The tv in my room did not work. The front desk person did offer to change my room to a room with a working tv.

    The room was nice. The breakfast was okay. Only one choice of meat. I only saw sausage patties and sausage biscuits. Bacon could be anotherchice. Grits would be nice. Just like you had the oatmeal, you could have had girts also. The side entrance wasn't close to an elevator. The desk clerk said it was, but it wasn't.

    When we arrived their system was down and they didn’t have our information for the stay. So that was unfortunate but we understand things happen. When we get to our room the room is sub par what are used to for Marriot standards, we were very disappointed the toilet was dirty and so was the shower. If it wasn’t a late night check in we would have went to another location. We have stayed here normally over the last 3-5 years and each year there has been a steady decline in cleanliness and service. I won’t be staying here again and I wish I could get my money back because this was a terrible experience for us.

    We travel with a small dog and are often disappointed with the accommodations. Your hotel not only accepts pets, it is a first class hotel. Clean, modern, large refrigerator and a kitchenette. Plenty of parking, easy entry, pleasant staff and a great breakfast. I can’t think of one thing that could have been better.

    We tried to take a day off our stay and we’re told that because we booked through Expedia they could not refund the cost. Then they called twice to ask when we planned to check out as the wanted housekeeping to clean the room. We told them both times that as we would not receive a refund for the unneeded day that we would just stay. They were less than helpful. I understand policy however it would have been nice if they had left it and not called twice.

    The staff was great. Very courteous. Saw a roach in the bathroom within the first hour after checking in. We DO NOT have roaches in our home so that insect did not come with us. And the ventilation system had a smell of cigarette smoke for the entire stay.

Made me so uncomfortable that I didn’t even stay, I left 30 mins after check in. My house flooded is why I needed the room but I made other arrangements. Will never stay again and lost $145 because no refunds.

    Some people that checked in next door to me were extremely loud. After waking me up at 1am, I ended up contacting the front desk after an hour of listening to them blast rap music. The front desk immediately took care of it, and I was so grateful 😊 There was a mix up with my billing and my card but it was fixed. The place was very lovely, very clean, and accommodating. Would stay here again, and I am not the easiest to please.

    We walked into our room it smelled like mildew, we pad 184 for one night not to be able to sleep in comfort. The bathroom was half cleaned, nasty finger prints that looked like dried up blood. Over on the wall by the lap it was a spilled spattered mess on the wall that wasn’t even cleaned up. Very upsetting especially staying in a Marriott own hotel. Worst part about it this was the only room left at this sold out hotel for the night. For the start of the check in process it was great the guy was helpful and professional the lobby looked promising, it was the room we stayed in made all this a terrible experience. Room 120

    Overall, just okay. The room was listed as a double queen bed, but they were clearly not.. two adults fit with little wiggle room. The evening staff was nice, they solved my initial booking issue pretty quick and got us up to the room but the staff as we checked out couldn’t be bothered with us as they were in the middle of a conversation about the coworker they hated. The room was clean, I wish room service would have came during our stay to at least empty the trash and take the linens. Good size suite for 5 people though, can’t complain at $175/night. Pretty fairly priced suite in town.

    I booked a room last minute for a softball tournament and wanted a hotel near the ball park. I was a little disappointed when I pulled into the hotel parking lot, it’s not quite what I imagined based on the photos online. However, the front desk staff were very friendly and the room was updated, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was good. It’s not the nicest place I’ve ever stayed, but it was a great room for the value. I would absolutely book here again if I visit Aiken again in the future.

It’s not the nicest place I’ve ever stayed, but it was a great room for the value. I would absolutely book here again if I visit Aiken again in the future.

    Hotel employee charged my card again at check in (over what I paid on hotels.com) by mistake & the hotel would not fix it. The employee made a mistake and swiped my card for the room charge , instead of charging hotels.com who I already paid. Management won’t be in until Monday and I was basically told to take it up with hotels.com. Hotels dot com didn’t make the mistake the hotel did there they should be the ones to fix it. Double charging people who are traveling and not immediately taking action to fix it is an issue. Now I have to wait who knows how long and be on the phone trying to fix their mistake. Not a good experience. Tub is also broken.

    I love that this property was clean, and right across the street from Walmart. Full kitchen in my room which worked out perfectly. Easy options for breakfast. I loved my stay here. Anytime I need to come to Aiken this will be my hotel of choice.

    We were assigned to a room that had not been serviced. Second room was dirty, clearly the carpet had not been vacuumed for weeks. Bathroom had orange mold on tiles and faucet handles and toilet had urine residue on the seat. Room was dusty and overall disappointing. I am shocked Marriot Bonvoy would allow this facility to relate to their brand. Would never consider staying here again.

    The staff were pleasant. The breakfast was nice for a quick hotel meal. My only issue is the parking. Most of the parking is in the back of the hotel and dark. I wasn't comfortable with the parking, but the hotel and staff were great.

    We were in the lobby area that was attached to the breakfast area. We were sitting at the chairs and roaches were crawling across the tables and on chairs in the lobby! This was in the same area as their breakfast! We contacted Expedia and cancelled our reservation and this took over 30 minutes to cancel. Hotel definitely needs pest control! Can't imagine how the rooms are if this is in the lobby/breakfast area are! Come on Marriott...shame!

    On a previous review, I stated that I have stayed at the hotel at least 9 times. However, after further review, I have actually stayed for over 16 days -spanning over the last 3 years. I travel from the Seattle, WA area to the Augusta, GA area often. Needless to say, I really like staying at this hotel. All of my stays have been quite and safe … and staff members have always been helpful, polite, and professional. The breakfast offering seems to be sufficient. Normally, amongst their offerings, my party has discovered and enjoyed small yet tasty waffles with good syrup, eggs, sausage, Greek yogurt and coffee (other items may be available). Although, I have never parked in the back parking lot the lighting appears to be decent and the area appears to be safe. I have never noticed any questionable activity or persons of particular interest on or near the property. Aiken, SC seems like an extremely safe area. Regarding COVID, prior to and currently, I always wipe down my room’s furniture, appliances, lamp switches, door hardware (locks/peep hole), cabinet & fixture knobs/handles, & TV remote with Lysol wipes and/or disinfectant sprays. I have seen at least 1 staff member wearing a surgical face mask. To date, I have never seen anyone showing signs or symptoms of illness. Perhaps more importantly, I have never become ill either during or after my stay. If you are looking for a consistently quiet and safe hotel at a great value then look no further. This is a great place to stay!

David (night shift front desk staff) provided great assistance to us when we left several clothing items in our vacated room. Owillinda (the manager) was fantastic each and every time I spoke with her. They all ensured that all of our items were returned to us. This is a great location with nice rooms, and honest staff.     They have a lady ig and roach infestation. Limited amount of handicap accessibility rooms. I made a mistake when i booked the room and the could not accommodate me. I will not stay the again. There way of making it up was to give us 1000 reward points. Like that would make up for these problems!!!

    The sample picture of your studio type is not the same what we got. I’ve thought it’s gonna be exactly the same with oven, hair dryer and like a L counter table shape in the kitchen area. The handle of the closet if where you hang your clothes is terrible. My daughter and I had an accident there. It was too tight when you go or walk to the door. It was good experience but I hope everything is accurate in your website.

    Very unpleasant experience. Arrived tired at 10:30 pm. Hotel had our reservation and we had the confirmation number but they would not allow us to check in. Waited in lobby trying to sort the problem out for 3 hours. Gave up and paid for another room at 1:30am directly with the hotel. Outrageous non-disclosed pet fee. Minimal and poor-quality breakfast.
