The check in was smooth, the room smelled real musty when we told the front desk they handed us Lysol the shower upon turning on shot out brown water which grossed my wife out to where she didn’t want to take a shower we went to use the pool at 11 am and it was locked up they said opens at 1 pm due to new customers coming in but us that are still checked in can’t use it until 1 which was ridiculous, the breakfast was poorly done waffle batter taste old I give our stay a 3 out of 10 and not staying there anymore

I booked 2 rooms, one for myself and one for my coworker. My coworker wasn’t able to make the first night, and when he checked in for the second night he was told that his reservation had been cancelled and that he would have to pay for a single night himself. I called and asked for a refund for the first “cancelled” room, but have not received that refund. The hotel charged twice for one person!

the room was well below average. The baseboard was warping away from the wall with exposed nails. The bathroom was so small that there was only an inch separating the door from the commode, making it difficult to enter the bathroom. The weather was too cool to use the pool, but the pool appeared to need cleaning.

Bed were soft. VERY outdated room. Bathtub didnt plug up. Hair in bathtub. No batteries in open smoke alarm. GROSS floor, so bad your feet turn BLACK within a few steps. Outlets open and exposed without covers. Mold on ceiling. Disgusting floor in bathroom with very nasty grout in-between tiles.

Property was decent but not nice. Had people hanging outside of my room. Not sure I would stay there again.

Very good
- 3/5
The front end staff was very good, the floor in our room was filthy, they didn’t clean the room the first night after we asked the cleaning staff to come back after 11AM, they didn’t understand English.
- 1/5
Gross. Dirty. Stinky.
- 1/5
Do not stay here! Travelers beware! This place gives off drug vibes. The rooms are as dirty and gross as they feel when you walk in. Our rooms were “non smoking” yet they smelled like ash trays. One room didn’t even have pillows! And a cockroach in the toilet. Shampoo and conditioners are not refilled apparently and if they are they smell old. Pay a little extra and stay somewhere else. The pictures are deceiving. Don’t let them catfish you the way they did me.

This is a very old building with very poor maintenance and repairs. There were piles of dirt from where maids swept the floor and didn’t bother to remove the debris. Dirty hand marks on the walls and switches. No soap for the sink area, had to use shampoo. Not a clean place.

Breakfast was good The room was dirty especially the floor in the room. The pictures online did not reflect the quality of the hotel

My hotel had cockroaches, and I won't use the room
- 4/5
Room was clean. Floor could have been cleaned a little better. Bed cover was a little old looking but overall the room and stay was pleasant. People were loud outside of my room at various hours of the night.
- 2/5
Hardly any food available. One egg left and two sausages. No juice and milk was gone at 7:30 am
- 3/5
Breakfast, Sunday and Monday they did not provide eggs, and fruit. Only bread and cereals, need to remind multiple times to fill up the bread, fruits and juice. Swiming pool was full of cigarette thrown in, was full of dirt. It was opposites of Name... Quality Inn..
- 5/5
In dire need of proper facility maintenance. Many things broken or in poor repair, worn, dirty. Floors were filthy. I’m surprised corporate hasn’t shut this location down. Staff was pleasant.
- 3/5
Staff was very nice. But the hotel is outdated and old. Outlets with no cover, cracks in walls, sketchy. The bed was comfortable.
- 1/5
Nicely landscaped
- 2/5
This place has been run down holes in the bathroom door sink was cracked no trash can stain in the queen bed not good.
- 5/5
The girl that checked me in was awesome! I didnt catch her name but she worked hard making sure housekeeping was done with my room. I was early. The hotel could use some TLC but it was clean and for the price on Masters week I cant complain. I do wish the bar had been open but thats OK mi pueblo across the street took care of that for me.
- 5/5
Clean. Very personable front desk staff.
- 2/5
There were people outside their rooms being very loud at night and called out to me (I am a single lady). They even knocked on my door to try and get me to participate with their dinking and smoking. It made me feel very uncomfortable. The outside of the building and parking area was not very clean or tidy.
- 2/5
We found the room to be pretty dirty. There were burn holes in one of the beds sheets and comforter. This was supposed to be a non-smoking room. The small love seat was very stained and dirty. The wall plate were the cable for the tv went was hanging from the wall. There was an ironing board, but no iron. The bathroom had one new roll of toilet paper and one very used roll. The heater was also broken and I had to manually turn it off around 3am due to it being extremely hot in the room. We couldn’t wait for morning so we could leave. I would’ve left immediately and found another hotel if we weren’t so beat from a long day. Do yourself a favor and read the reviews before you book a room.
- 2/5
Absolutely wouldn't stay here again, nasty place thats falling apart and pics online definitely not what it looks like now. Got in late and only needed a place to sleep and shower so i stayed. Security measures even falling off the door frame but i already have a means of locking the door down.
- 3/5
The man at check in was very friendly and accommodating. He sent us to a room upstairs that had many issues, so we took several pictures and came back down to show him, as we did not want to be charged for all the damage. He said that until recently, FEMA had families living in the hotel since Hurricane Helena, and there were still repairs being made. He moved us to a much better room (109). If my review were based on the original room (220) It wouldn't be good. However, the second room was over all much what I expected for the price ($205 for 2 nights) We only require 3 things in a hotel room, clean, comfortable, and safe. We felt safe, and the bed was comfortable. There was a nice, newer 55" TV with Direct TV. The room seemed clean, but when my husband dried a spot on the floor where he had spilled water, he ended up with a very dirty towel. My guess is that the tile floor is being vacuumed and not mopped. There were other small things, like repairs that were not professionally done. So if you're looking for perfection, this is not the place. We were there to see family, so it was just a place to sleep and shower. Breakfast was waffles, muffins and cereal. The only problem there was a broken juice machine. The water was hot. There was no evidence of bugs of any sort. The second morning, we were woken up at 5am, first by a car alarm, then later by a barking dog, then music and people talking for a short time. Other than small inconveniences, we were satisfied with our stay.
- 2/5
The room appeared clean however was not. The floors had sandy grit you could feel on your feet. The refrigerator needing cleaning as well as replaced. The stainless steal things on all the doors are in horrible condition. The kitchen faucet would only cut off in a odd placement and took me forever to figure out. The shower curtain had stains and mold on the bottom. The shelf under the bathroom sink had a layer of dust. I stayed against my better judgement due to not knowing the area. The tendents were loud, smoked pot in the next room in which the air unit brought into ours. I woke up the next day sick: congestion, sore throat and headach. It could be from the conditions of the room or by coincidence.
- 4/5
I had an issue with my first room and your desk. Staff was very very helpful to me and very nice. I was happy with the breakfast in the lobby the next morning and happy with the desk staff at that time. your employees made the stay very nice.
- 3/5
Room was clean and staff were friendly. Noisy people in room next door. Breakfast not many choices but was okay.
- 1/5
Mostly resembled a drug motel. Puking girl at stairwell. Dirty looking characters in parking lot. Grocery cart at stairs. Broken down vehicles in parking lot. Awful.
- 1/5
There was a spider wrapping a stink bug in his web in the corner when I walked in, no smoke detector, the dead bolt didn’t work, there was no working cable, and there was a rowdy group of people playing music and laughing and talking and smoking weed outside my window until incredibly late. They are doing some renovations which is good and understandable but that didn’t bother me compared to everything else.
- 1/5
The Mexican place across the street was great!
- 5/5
Room was clean, shower hot. TV worked great bed was clean and comfortable. Great value for the price.
- 1/5
A motel that could be used by the hour
- 2/5
I stayed Friday Saturday and Sunday night. First night T.V remote wouldn't work and phone in room has been ripped from the wall. Saturday evening there was a large gathering of people having a cookout (which was perfectly fine) it carries on though and the partied with loud music and loud screaming laughing conversations untill after 1:30am at which point I finally feel asleep due to exhaustion.
- 2/5
Dirtiest hotel I have even stayed in
- 5/5

- 1/5
probably won’t ever stay there again if i don’t have to. didn’t expect much but updates needed.
- 4/5

- 3/5
Luckily we were only there for one night to sleep but would have never used the shower!!! Beds were comfy but only 1 very thin pillow provided per. (Well 2 per bed) Definitely had a “stuffy” smell but not the worse I’ve stayed in.
- 5/5
Older motel that has had some updating. Front office and breakfast area . The room I had was clean and had been painted, new floors. Beds were clean and comfy. I checked every where for bugs etc. as I do anywhere I go. It was fine. Few people smoking weed outside early in the morning. That didn’t bother me. Over all not bad for what we paid. Not fancy. Probably use to a tougher motel. But can tell someone has tried to give it new life
- 1/5
The bathroom and tub was dirty with brown ring around it when I woke up in the middle of the night there was a cockroach running around
- 5/5
Great place !!!
- 3/5
I arrived late 12am in the morning. The person that checked me in was very young his appearance gave the indication of 12/13 years old . As hard as he tried to understand my license it was clear he was struggling. After a few min. a lady and gentleman walked around the corner. He was the night guy and was able to help. The hallway up to rooms had paint drips. The rooms were clean. Check out I was not able to get a receipt not sure if it was a commutation problem or if his printer was down
- 5/5
Some people may thumb their nose at this hotel. We return EVERYTIME because of the amazing customer service there. The gentleman, Leonard, is ALWAYS so friendly. His service dog is such a sweetheart. My recent visit i accidentally left my breast cancer blanket in the room after check out. 6 hrs went by and i just realized i forgot it. My heart sunk to my stomach due to my mom. I called the hotel and Leonard went above and beyond and found my blanket. This meant the world to me. We will for sure be back!!!! Thank you so such Leonard!!!!!
- 1/5
The manager refused to refund 2 days after I checked out early my mom put on hospice .. the only bright spot was the nice lady checking me in …..room had burnt holes in sheets , stinked , bathroom bath tub terrible shape … but overall the manager being unavailable to my calls and not responding to Expedia is the worst ! Stay far away ….I will update if any change
- 2/5
AC unit very noisy. Towels were thin and old. Few TV channels available. Bath faucet difficult to operate. Room had a musty smell, maybe had previous smokers.
- 1/5
What made this very scary is I am a single female and the room door had one lock and it did have a small barring mechanism but it had been ripped out of the metal door jam several times already because you could see the screw holes where they had moved it 2 times already. It was loose and all it would take is a decent kick. The top sheet on the bed had stains. the bathroom floor gross

Bed was comfortable but the bathroom needed updating and the shower knob was broken. Everything seemed very old and run down.
- 4/5
As a veteran Masters attendee I have stayed in multiple hotels and know that is a challenge to find a reasonably priced hotel that is also clean. Prices can run $750 for a standard hotel that any other time of the year would run $150 a night. When you check in after 10 pm and leave by 6:30 am I cannot bring myself to pay that kind of rate for 8 hour stay with a hot shower. I felt that Quality Inn was reasonably priced at $275/night and a good value. It is an easy 30 minute drive to Augusta National, take the back road and go to the South Gate via Berckmans Rd. Pros: Inn Keeper cares and is eager to make your stay pleasant. Rooms have all been recently repainted, new flooring put in, new counter top, was clean. Cons: It is an older hotel so a simple set up with a basic room. Fine for what we needed and wanted to pay. Thank you for a comfortable and safe nights sleep!
- 1/5
Room was dirty and broken down like a cheap motel. It looked an old cheap motel. The pictures advertised were completely misleading and false.
- 5/5
Love it
- 5/5
Nice and enjoyable
- 5/5
Manager was very courteous and friendly. Check in went great, room was clean, bed was very comfortable but it had the traditional flat pillows. No neck support here. The bath was clean and shower was nice n hot. Hotel was dated and needed painting inside and out. The breakfast was good with eggs, sausage, waffles and assorted cereals and yogurt.
- 2/5
The sheets and the bed were clean. The floor was ok, but there were mystery holes in the wall, and the tub was disgusting. This hotel definitely needs updating. I guess for the price you get what you pay for. This hotel is in better condition than alot of hotels in Aiken. If i was in desperate need i'd only return because of the fact that the sheets are clean

- 1/5
Rooms smell bad. Hot tub is old and full of stains. The towels are very dirty and full of stains.

This place had bedbugs the guy at the front desk is very nice though but bedbugs
- 3/5
Smells like mold
- 2/5
We stayed for a baseball camp at USC Aiken, it was convenient to the school and online pictures looked good. Hotel is in need of serious makeover. Floors were dirty, bathtub was gross and the towels had stains on them. Honestly it felt a tad unsafe as well.
- 4/5
The stay was okay. Folks (and service dogs at evening) registration and breakfast were friendly. We were given a room that was newly painted, so had the paint fumes to deal with. Said something at front desk about it. They ionized/oxidized the room, which helped a little bit. They were willing to give us a new room but kept stressing they knew guests did not like to move if unnecessary. Breakfast was okay. It was the basics (eggs, meat, cereal, some fruit, coffee, and juice). One day there was a confrontation between guests and staff that we heard. Earlier that morning down the street, cops chased down a guy. I do believe I will try the Quality Inn on the other side of Aiken instead of staying here again.
- 3/5
There was a cigarette burn on the bedspread and lipstick stain on the sheets.
- 4/5
Older hotel…cigarette burns on bedspread (non smoking room), peeling shower/tub, and moldy shower curtain. Staff was helpful. About what I expected for $80 a night.
- 3/5
Our room smelt like somebody had been smoking weed in it. We notified the front desk and they moved us to a handicap room. They informed us that this was the only room available. That room was not up to standard but we made it workable. We stayed out of it much as possible. It was dusty, the towels were dingy and the paint in bath tub was pealing and one of the sheets on the bed had burns, and the bedspread was very wrinkle.
- 5/5
Very friendly and clean!
- 5/5
Clean. Quiet.
- 3/5
This hotel is in need of a makeover extremely bad. The room was filthy the bed had unexplainable stains on them. The bathroom had hair all over the floor and dirty shower curtain and towels.I requested a non-smoking room and the room smelled of smoke. I will not recommend this hotel to my enemy.
- 2/5
.dirty sofa
- 1/5
Tile & grout in bathroom was full of mildew. SMOKE ALARM IN ROOM WAS MISSING & NOT REPLACED WE PAID $253 FOR THIS ROOM. QUALITY NOT ACCEPTABLE FOR THE PRICE. ALSO MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE WITH MISSING SMOKE ALARM. PLEASE REFUND 50% OF WHAT WE PAID
- 1/5
Rooms smelled. Very dirty. Hated so bad we left and found another hotel
- 3/5
This was a very aged facility and was very unkept. For the excessive price paid (over charged due to The Masters), I would have expected at least a modest room that was clean.
- 2/5
They did not have the rooms ready at 6pm the day we arrived and they did not allow us to have a noon (compared to 11am) check out. The floors in the rooms were dirty, showers were dirty, and the sheets had stains on them. The daily cleaning staff would only make one of the beds.
- 3/5
The room was clean but dated. The shower connection sprayed and got water all over the bathroom. Breakfast was a joke. Powdered eggs and sausage patties swimming in liquid. Two kinds of cereal, no juice, and whole apples for fruit. The channel lineup in the lobby showed about 40 channels. We only had 20 in our room.
- 1/5
It was a terrible facility. We didn’t even stay it was so bad. The smells were terrible. There was mold and it was just gross. Smoke smells. Leonard at the front desk tried very hard to find us a room that we would be satisfied with. Unfortunately for him and us it did not exist at this hotel. I say tear it down and start over again. We did not get a refund which does not do anything for booking again with Quality Inn anywhere.
- 2/5
I stayed two nights. It was a couple days after st Patrick's and there were still piles of beer cartons and bags of trash next to the over flowing trash cans outside. The room smelled like smoke as well. The seal on the door was nonexistent. So, i could here everything people ordered at McDonald's next door.
- 3/5
There were limited dining options near the property. There were not many options for charging our electrical vehicle either.
- 1/5
The room smell like smoke and I was dirty .
- 3/5
Theres really nothing to like here. the rooms were clean but it smelled like cat pee in one of the stairwells and the people were just unsettling. No one cared if the rooms were occupied and were just loud. The reception desk was barely open half the time and the location looked dingy.
- 3/5
The room was clean with lots of outlets. The gym was OK with treadmill, stair-stepper, bench with weights, and free weights. Breakfast was adequate. (Scramble eggs and sausage, cereal with milk, Yoplait yogurt, OJ) Staff was friendly and pointed me to a couple close restaurants for dinner. The cons: The stairway and connecting hallways were ghastly filthy and cigarette butts were everywhere.
- 3/5
Bed was very warn out floor was dirty air conditioner was poor shower had good pressure but no hot water firs day was fixed second day walls where thin
- 2/5
The problem was not so much the hotel but with the clientele. There were people using drugs openly in the parking lot, on the stairs, and around the hotel. The bed had some questionable stains on the coverlet but sheets were clean. Tub was dirty.
- 2/5
There were stains on the couch and the tub was dirty
- 4/5
I loved their breakfast and how everything was very close by..some walking distance..very nice pool area
- 1/5
It was not good at all
- 3/5
Need maintenance on air conditioning. The room does not get able to cool down.
- 5/5
Room was spacious with sofa and clean. Pool was not open due to repairs. There were two floor tiles that were laying down in the bathroom behind the toilet. Breakfast was great lots of options. Front desk was nice and helpful. Had nice stay!
- 4/5
At the check in Leonard was super nice and when we couldn’t get our TV to work he came and resolved the issue quickly. The room was clean and clean smelling. The bed and bedding were super soft and comfortable, we slept well. The shower had good pressure. I saw some earlier reviews that were not good. However, we had a good experience so don’t let the other reviews deter you.
- 4/5
Friendly service but we reserve a king bed and got a double bed room instead.
- 1/5
We didn’t even stay that this hotel it was so bad. Smells of smoke. No curtains. Staff we ran into was not friendly.
- 2/5
The photos are deceiving. Yes the lobby has been renovated but the remainder of hotel, as in the part where you sleep and live is like stepping back into the 1970s. I would not stay here again.
- 1/5
Room was NOT cleaned before I checked in. Had a stale odor to the room and the bathroom shower was gross. Paint peeling off the side of it and the bottom of the tub.
- 4/5
Soft bed, comfortable
- 3/5
Room was in need of attention
- 2/5
The ceiling was caving in from water damage . The bed sheets were dirty they had blood stains on them and some kind of dirt or poop . I’m not sure as to what it was . The tub was peeling. The box springs to the beds were tore up . We went for a funeral and were not pleased with our stay.
- 3/5
Sketchy people at the hotel, smelt like smoke, shower temperature all over the place while showering. Bugs in the room. Tv picture was distorted, room door was open on my arrival. Only good thing was the front desk was friendly and welcoming.
- 3/5
The room was comfortable, but had a swimming pool smell :-(
- 1/5
This place was very nasty. People walking around all times of the night screaming, cursing, smoking drugs like they lived in the hotel. Did not feel safe at all. Horrible smell in room. Hole in the wall that looked to have been patched about 50 times.
- 2/5
The staff was amazing - they called the person next door blaring their music at 12:30 pm and 7:30 am- but the property needs to be updated- the chair in the room was absolutely nasty dirty with holes in the arm of it- room wreaked of cigarette smoke. just needs alot of repairs
- 3/5
It’s old, sort of run down, but OK for the very low price. The service folks were excellent, very attentive and polite.
- 3/5
Motel is run down bad. Smelt weed the entire stay. Cards wouldn’t work half the time. Dope bags all over the ground. Loud people hanging out at night. Won’t stay again. Staff was friendly that was the only upside of it.
- 2/5
drain. Disgusting!
- 2/5
For the price I paid I didn't expect the Hilton but there was stick gunk with hair from the shower drain stuck on the back of the shower, the ceiling above the shower had a hole in the drywall with drywall peeling and hanging down above the shower head, long human hairs on the sheets and pillow cases. I could hear the neighbors TV loudly all night long because the dresseers and TV were propped up infront of the adjoining doors. It was dirty and felt unsafe. Not worth what I paid and won't go back.
