Great stay, clean room, and friendly staff

Good Hotel for the area. Common areas were very warm and only had 1 working elevator at the time of our visit. Also only had 1 washer and dryer available. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The pool area was mid size and much need after a day on the ball fields.

The room was nice. I enjoyed my stay even though it was short.

Our stay was convenient, quiet and adequate for our needs. There were a few hiccups with the window shade and shower drain but we were able to overcome them.

The lobby and 1st floor were impressive. The rooms seemed outdated by comparison. They could be in the middle of renovations?

Comfortable, good location. Rooms, baseboards, ect needed updated, chipped paint, cracked and showing age. Also,why not make the continental breakfast ending the same time as checkout every morning? Would be much more convenient, easier to remember and esp helpful for travelers checking out. Thank you.

The person who checked me in was so helpful. The guys in the kitchen were great. The bed is very comfortable and the shower is hot with great water pressure.

The area around the hotel has lots of dining and shopping options. The hotel building was COLD...as in temperature. There is a gas fireplace in the lobby but it was not on. Our room was fine as we controlled the heat. The carpeting is dirty in appearance. The room was just OK.....no couch or comfortable seating. It was just very basic.....no reason to go back.Breakfast was not included.....in this type of hotel it should be. If I went back to Aiken I would look for a newer hotel, or go old school and do bed and breakfast in town.

I found the entire facility and our room to be beautiful and clean. We were surprised at the huge size of the lobby area. Even though the lobby was huge, there were several designated sitting spaces which gave the area a cozy, relaxing vibe.

The love staying here because of its proximity to shops and the horse parks. We are always comfortable and have great restaurants continently close to the hotel.

5 Star Staff. Excellent Rating of 5 stars for Sha and Amber and the rest. Next time we are in the area this is our safe place for rest.

The property was very nice and clean. The staff were all nice as well for the most part. The only thing I did not like was when I asked for extra sheets and blankets they were not available and the receptionist did not do anything to help us get what we needed. Also the mini fridge in the room didn’t have a stable temp option. The temp was either too hot or froze the food.

Hotel employee in the restaurant were fantastic! Hotel employee provided excellent service and is an amazing chef! My Asian Chicken Salad was delicious! These two ladies are just wonderful!

Our room was unavailable upon arrival. We had to wait almost half an hour for a room to be provided. Wifi did not work half the time. Thermostat in room did not work well. The floor and room smelled like smoke and weed. Staff was unresponsive to messages.

We did a live chat with expedia who could not contact the hotel so passes it on to the next team. Then got a reply from Mohammad from experia who stated he was unable to contact the suppliers so could not provide a refund a said there was nothing else he could do !!!!!

Staff were friendly, not nosey, helpful. They displayed Southern charm. Loved the cleanliness, decorum and efficiency. There was nothing to complain about! The hallways were really cold. Maybe it keeps bugs out? Breakfast would be nice. Or a snack?

Beds were comfortable Lifts did not work and with the exception of the one lady who worked very hard serving food and drink the staff were not particularly good.

The TV had none of my favorite channels available. The programming was no easy to understand.

Location was fine. Did not try the breakfast. The hotel hallway rugs appeared old and musty.

They may need to get the issues corrected sooner than later as it was somewhat of an inconvenience.

The hotel is so lovely. The entrance and foyer area is very inviting the staff was very friendly and the king suite that we had was just perfect.

The initial impression aside, I was disappointed to learn that the king size room I’d reserved just 30 min prior (after much time searching for where I wanted to spend the night, initially in Augusta, but chose this property in Aiken) wasn’t available due to a technical issue with the keys. I was offered a room with 2 queen beds. I was traveling alone, so I couldn’t complain really…but I had indeed looked forward to sprawling across a king size bed. hotel was fully booked and we were placed in a room that is adjacent to the elevator bank - so it was disruptive to sleep. We will come back, though, and request a different room!

My stay was great. Check in and check out was easy. The front desk staff was warm, welcoming and very friendly. My room was beautiful. My only complaint is that I didn’t get the room I booked. I always book a king room, and I was put in a room with 2 queen beds.

The property is very pretty and the rooms are amazing! Around about six am a front staff person use their key to come into the room. The person did not knock or anything just came in! That scared me so l checked out way early before check out! I will not be staying there again. Beautiful property but l felt unsafe that morning. Nika is the best!!!

Front desk individual that was working between the hours of 9pm-7:30 am was extremely rude and passive aggressive. Suggested we stay at another hotel and they because I wasn’t a Diamond level owner she could possibly walk me away. Almost as a threat.

I had a king size bed and the bed is very comfortable! Room extremely clean! No bugs! Great customer service! Love the location. It’s next to a grocery store, IHOP, and Chick-Fil-A, and a lot of other stores too. Free parking on site.

I booked a room with 2 beds and paid extra to have 2. When I checked in they said they gave that room away and only had one bed. They offered a roll-away bed. No top blanket, I ask and they said they waxed the floor and could give me one unti the morning.

Dirty sheets, and mold in the AC (picture is attached). Hotel toilet seats were leaking, floor, chairs, and walls were stained and peeling, especially in the bathroom.

I booked a junior suite and when I arrived they said I had a regular room. So they over booked or bumped for some reason and pretended I had a different booking. Bad business practice. They gave me another room but when I reserve a room, I expect to get it. The AC unit was loud and woke me up every 15-20 min. Breakfast is extra.

The restaurant was closed saturday night, and had to laugh in the morning that the typically always free hotel breakfast was $9. And at prime breakfast time there were a total of two tables with people eating, where there would have normally been a full dining area. I'm sure the missing diners, like us went elsewhere.

We only stayed one night to pick up our new puppy nearby, but we really enjoyed our stay. The agent at the desk was very pleasant and helpful, and the hotel is clean and quiet. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

It was great. We had a little issue with the AC and the day that we checked out, the elevator wasn’t working. So, we had to haul everything using the stairs from the the third floor. Fortunately, there was a guy that was working there that helped.

The only problem I had with this hotel was the mattress should have been replaced a long time ago. I had family in other rooms and those beds looked much more comfortable. Otherwise this is a very nice hotel and I would definitely stay there again.

The front desk staff were very nice and pleasant. I was able to cancel without incident because of an emergency situation that arose. I especially enjoyed the grits at breakfast.

I will never stay at this hotel again! The elevator was not in service.A friend and I went in on this room together.Along with our daughters. Which were there for softball tournament.They put us on the 4th floor or with no elevator! Tried to cancel our room because of the elevator situation.But was told since i booked though 3rd party. They could not refund room.I would have to go though hotels.com for refund.So reluctantly we check in. Had to lug all belongings up 4 flights of stairs.No one from hotel offered to help.By the time were in our room. Were hot sweaty and ready for hot shower and something cold to drink.My friend jumps in shower.I go find ice machine.To see its also out of order! I'd have to walk down another flight of stairs to get ice! (Maybe) if the 3rd floors ice machine worked! Decided to call for some to be brought up.Was told they was only person at desk and they couldn't leave front! My friend gets done with her shower just as disgusted as i was.She tells me the water didn't drain in the shower so she had to stand in her own dirty water to shower. So myself and our daughters didn't even have the luxury to shower. Had to stand in front of bathroom sink to wash. They only had towel set for 3 and not 4 as well. The cleanliness of the room was less than great as well. They didn’t wipe down everything in the bathroom to start with and there were lots of stains left behind.

Overall a decent place to stay. They have a pool which was not open, but they didn’t indicate that when booking. Weather in the 80’s, a couple kids, a pool would have been nice.

My son and his wife and my brother and his wife stayed while visiting us here in Aiken for a family get together. The hotel staff was fantastic. My only suggestions is you improve the signage for guest leaving the hotel and keep the doors to the trash big to the left of hotel. Not a great first impression when parking on that side of the hotel. Fridge in room 421 did not get very cold. Everything else was quite nice. My family really enjoyed there stay! Thank you!

Our stay was awesome. The clerks were very nice and informative. The room was clean and spacious. Only thing I hated was that I only stayed one night. My fiancé and I will be returning and staying three nights. It was perfect.

The room was clean and orderly. Checking in was easy, everyone from front desk to cleaning staff was very friendly,all around it was very enjoyable!

The room was clean and orderly. Checking in was easy, everyone from front desk to cleaning staff was very friendly,all around it was very enjoyable!

Very comfortable but was told pool would be open but it wasn’t. Also, the door to my room was being painted when I arrived.

Informed Friday morning of the shower curtain rod falling down. Nothing done about it. Very disappointed in management’s lack of response.

Enjoyed this trip. Only hiccup was night attendant did not give us breakfast tickets we needed for breakfast buffet following morning so it took a minute to clear this up before we could eat.

Room met Hilton standards. Found it interesting that the TV did not have HD, only SD.

It’s very quiet and the hotel is super clean. I love that there is a refrigerator and microwave in each room.

Everything was great except the pillows were too soft.

The building is in need of paint to freshen it up. The shower head and curtain should be replaced.

Clean and comfortable

My only cons were that the room was right by the elevator equipment room, so all day and all night you hear that noise. I woke up several times due to the noise. The bed was low and hard. Lastly, the shower was incredibly narrow, so your body was practically touching the curtain the entire time.

The fire alarm went off several times. They put us in a handicap room and I did not request that and they dot not tell me as we were checking in

Hilton Garden Inn, Aiken, SC is a charming property located conveniently near several dining establishments a charming sports bar, and several quality golf courses. It comfortably accommodated my group of friends and me.

It was nice and it was clean. It was ok. Staff was friendly.
