    I was in a rush to get ready to go out and meet friends for dinner and as I went to get ready and take a shower I discovered that I did not have any towels. There were face and hand towels but I didn't have any bath towels. It took 10+ minutes to get towels. When I went to shower I discovered a used hand towel hanging on the shower curtain rod which I assume was left by the previous tenant. While showering I ran out of liquid body wash. In addition, there was a bit of mold around the water line in the toilet bowl. I don't think it had been washed in a while. When I complained to the manager he said: "I will look into your complaints." I have stayed there before but I will never stay there again.

    Hotel was pretty clean. Room was very clean. Breakfast was good. Check the hours if you’re going to eat breakfast. Closed at 9 and 9:30. I’m not a fan of cleaning the room on request. I think this should be listed on booking pages. If I’m paying $750 for four nights, they should bring new towels and empty trash at least.

Pillows were terrible - had standard size pillows on a king bed- too small. I spoke to the front desk and they told the cleaning staff. Cleaning staff didn't not clean the dirty bathroom. They didn't empty the trash cans, nor make our bed. The room could of had another chair - too much open space. VERY DISAPPOINTING considering what I paid a night.

    Was given a room of lower class and expense yet was told they cannot do anything to a Booking. Com reservation! I feel that was total BS!! Housekeeping never once stepped foot in our room on Thursday. The manager told me that he had to give them the holiday off! Excuse me!!! Hotels and motels are a 365 day service. Also.... The room was disgusting! There was poop stuck to the sides of the toilet. We reported it but nothing was done. The poop was still stuck there when we checked out on Friday morning, November 28, 2025.. I feel certain I was overcharged as we did not receive the king studio that I paid in advance for. I have also charged $20 each day that we were told would only be charged if we charged anything to the room. We did not charge anything to the room but it is going on Tuesday, 12/01/2025 and the $40 has not been credited back to my card. I know it's not a lot of money but it is principal!!! See above!!

    We enjoyed our stay. The first night we couldn't watch TV because there wasn't a remote. It was taken care of the very next morning. Very clean facilities and the staff was very professional and accommodating. The breakfast wasn't as goid as other Fairfields weve stayed at around the country.

    The Fairfield Inn of Aiken SC was clean we were met with friendly check-in staff and the housekeeping staff was equally as friendly. The morning morning breakfast staff was just as friendly and when we were checking out we were greeted by a front desk clerk who greeted us in the same friendly manner. The rooms were clean, as were the elevator and the breakfast bar. The breakfast was hot and yummy. Full of a variety of both hot and cold choices to choose from. We will definitely be back to stay here again in again in the future as our needs arise bringing us to Aiken overnight.

    This hotel was in a quiet place and seemed to be pretty safe area. The rooms are a bit dated, but they were clean and all we needed for the night. We chose a Queen Suite room and it was very spacious. We would stay there again.

    This hotel was not great. The room had a terrible mildew smell and after leaving our clothes and bags smelled like mildew as well. The toilet was not cleaned and not even flushed during cleaning. The floors of the hotel room were damp as well. Definitely not a good experience.

    I was coming in for a family reunion after hosting a family reunion at Fairfield in Jacksonville FL which got great reviews from my family. My stay here however was one of the most disappointing visits I've had in years. The toilet seat was not cleaned at all seeing that hairs were atound the top and #2 stains were on the seat. I immediately went back to the front desk and was about to ask for new room but I had been on the road for almost 5 hours and just wanted to change and go to my family event. They had someone come and clean the bathroom again. When i was about to change i notice one singular pillow on the sofa and the other one missing. Ive never been in a Marriott hotel with one pillow on a sofa chair. Lastly, the bed cover had black specks all over the top of it like lint or debri coming from the AC vent. I pulled the cover off to see if it would accumulate on the linen but it didn't which told me it wasnt the AC. I just slept with the top cover folded back. Ive been here 3 to 4 times this year but i might have to select another hotel if this type of housekeeping is the normal.

    Our first impression as we drove up to the property was moderate. The area was fine, nothing spectacular. We were there for a horse show at Stable View, and the location of this hotel worked well. Once inside, we were pleasantly surprised. The staff was very nice, and the hotel (while worn in places) was very clean. Breakfast was nice with a decent selection of items. The indoor pool was very small, but we never saw more than 2 people using it. The gym facilities were nice. We would stay here again; we only wished they accepted pets.

    The hotel is old, has great appearance on outside, but they need to work on some of the things in rooms. TiB had a terrible water stain in it. The tub needs to be pulled up and replaced. The closet door was off the track, so it was extremely hard to get in and out of. One night was tolerable, but I think if you wanted to stay multiple days. You may need to request that these things are done before staying. I’m sure they have better rooms, but our selected room was very poor and not worth the price we paid for room.

    This hotel is the classic "lipstick on a pig", photos looks nice, but underneath it's just an old hotel. The rooms smell (weird odor in all rooms - old ac?), leaking pipes, doors stick, plumbing loud and fixtures sticky, ac took a long time to get cold. If it weren't for having paid in advance on a short stay over, we would found somewhere else to stay. Very surprising since Fairfield Inns are usually nice. Additionally, there is a hotel across the parking lot that is run down.

Signs posted that were some renovations going on, we noticed two of our light bulbs were out in our room (one in the wall sconce and one in the corner lamp or at the desk) I think. Overall, we will definitely stay again. :-)

    Undergoing renovation to be fair. There was more outside lighting at the hotel next door. I can see how it may feel unsafe to some. I checked in @ 9 or so. Clerk had music playing a little loud. He turned it down some when I came in, off would have been better. He was a pleasant person. I had to change rooms because my first room smelled overpowering of bleach. I called the front desk and got no answer but I didn't get hassled about the change. Both rooms were spacious and very clean. Otherwise an uneventful stay.

    Despite the renovations the property was quiet and comfortable. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Rooms were very clean. Pillows could be updated they’re pretty soft or give more options of a firm and soft on bed. The AC in the room didn’t have a thermostat but it worked. For the price we paid I think the value was pretty good.

    Checking in was a complete nightmare, I get there and I haf to wind up paying.$89.00.more dollars after using my $100.00.afterpay gift card and it took an 1hr.1/2 to get an ok email from you all before I could get a room...I was hot, tired, aggregated and hungry. Mind you I got there at 9:00 and didn't get a room til almost 11:00. Not what I expected at all, I thought going through yal I would have saved money and everything would have been taken care of and I could walk right in show my id pay the difference and that be it, not the case here and I'm very upset with the situation, and also the rate for last night was $148.00 and I can't figure out why I had to pay $189.00.

    It’s just a poorly maintained, low-end property. The closet door was about to fall off, the toilet ran all the time, took forever to refill.

    The room did not have USB plugs. The regular power plugs did not work to charge electronics. Some light bulbs were burned out. Microwave and coffees pot not connected and not obvious place to plug them. Although the room was clean, the hotel is poorly maintained.

    Was very quiet and comfortable for the first two nights of my three night stay. However, on the third night someone let their kids play in the hallway till midnight which isn't much fun when you are getting up at three to go on a long drive.

    Not what i expected from a Marriott property or old and musty. My check in was fast, card ready when i walked up but no room cleaning; apparently i was supposed to request service at check-in but i was unaware until i returned the next evening and realized my room wasn't cleaned. I won't do another Fairfield Inn in the future.
