Baymont by Wyndham Acworth

During my stay here I was in fear of my safety! There were suspect ppl walking and driving around at all hours, some had dogs. it was evident that this hotel is basically a "trap motel" and the room was filthy! never again!!!

It as absolutely filthy. Layers of dust everywhere. My hotel room door did not have a lock other than what was on the doorknob. Did not feel safe

This is a very tired rundown hotel. Has no elevator only steps to reach the 2nd story. Stairwell had no lights in it. Room had no cover plates on some outlets. Holes in the wall. Free breakfast was not served or provided as advertised. Do not stay.

This was the eorst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. It’s filthy. The towels were dirty, the bedding was dirty, the couch was disgusting. It smelled awful. The ac did not work. There was a sign in the check in window that said “no breakfast until further notice

I hated everything, it was very dark hallway, The room was painted over roaches and when I woke up roaches where everywhere. Felt so uncomfortable in that hotel and no one was at the front desk to voice my complaint

Bathrooms were dirty with urine around the toilet and i didnt feel comfortable showering with my shoes off so i kept them on. I opened a drawer and found old molded yogurt. The place is filthy just stay somewhere elese!!!!

There was no breakfast as advertised. Room smelled like mold. The air worked very well, kept the room nice and cold. The wet from the condenser leaked on the inside of the room. You have to use a tiny, unmarked window to check in. Maid was crabby and abrupt. No smiles to be found here. I won't waste my money here again, I'd rather sleep in my car. I am surprised Wyndham has their name anywhere around here.

This hotel is horrible and should be shut down. It was dirty and unclean. It smelled like urine. The room was not at all acceptable. The windows were broken, the bathroom door was broken, the shower wasn’t clean, the shower curtain was moldy, it smelled like smoke even though it was non smoking room, there was food left in the fridge and the ac didn’t work well.

The Customer Service was excellent. Not much more to be thrilled about. Was missing a couple of light bulbs. The property owners are wealthy, but do little to keep up the condition since it's government subsidized. You get what you pay for I guess.

Got to my room and found the following to be missing: TV remote, ironing board, light bulb over sink, soap and bathmat. Very nice lady who was cleaning nearby rooms hooked me up with soap and a remote but couldn't otherwise help me. During all of this, the local police showed up and took one of the other tenants out in handcuffs. As for the room itself, the carpet had obviously not been vacuumed for days, nor had the bathroom floor been mopped. Some areas had not been dusted for a while, to include the top of the HVAC unit, which was the final resting place for some long-deceased flies. On the plus side, the appliances worked well, the shower was nice, there were good dining and shopping options nearby, and the location was relatively quiet, given its proximity to I-75. Bottom line, if I had not prepaid for this room and had other options, I would never have stayed here. Nor will I ever again.

The gentleman who checked me in was very friendly and pleasant. The room was disgusting. I found hairs on my bed. The couch had multiple stains on it and the door lock was broken. I pushed the nasty couch against the door. Broken handles on the dresser. Go one exit north to stay! This place is a dump

The rooms weren’t what one would expect “clean” to be. There was a pair of dirty socks in the corner of the room (presumably from a previous guest) dirt on the floor and some kind of liquid on the table next to the bed. The room smelled like smoke. Just a generally unpleasant stay. They can do better!

Unfortunately, my room that appeared decent was bedbug and roach infested. I woke up to bedbug bites over my arms face and legs. Roaches we’re climbing in my boots and on the nightstand as well as in the bathroom. It was a horrific experience.

Pullout couch was full of chips, other food, stained and had no bedding to use as a bed. Office gave us sheets that were ripped and the pillow was a decorative pillow, not a bed pillow. Breakfast has been suspended due to Covid so I pray previous person in my room didn’t have it because it definitely wasn’t sanitized. Remote is sticky to touch. I slept showered and left touching as little as possible.

Overall I had an issue checking in at 3:00pm due to Expedia not faxing over the correct billing information to the hotel for my room. I checked in after 11pm when the issue was resolved.

I would not recommend staying at this hotel at all. Had a lot of foot traffic thru their location. Also found a hypodermic needle laying in the parking lot. Also on the 2nd night someone in the parking lot was pressure washing a dump truck at 10:00 at night.

We ultimately didn’t stay. There is no sign lit up so we passed it initially. Pulled into the lot late and people were “tailgating” in the lot. A couple was fighting on the balcony, a woman highly intoxicated and/or high was roaming the area near the window to check in. Due to safety concerns, you can’t enter the office at night. With just me and my ten year old daughter, we didn’t feel safe staying. I am currently attempting a refund but have yet to hear back from hotel. This is not safe for families!

I simply love staying at Baymont in Acworth. You just couldn't ask for a better set of owners. And the lady that does the accommodations is super sweet and very helpful and when you need anything she will make sure it is taken care of within means. I would recommend Baymont of Acworth to anyone. The rooms go up and beyond what you would expect for the price.

The accommodations were very good. Due to the Covid-19 the conversation with the front desk was extremely limited and the morning check-out with a person did not exist. This was a nice location and minutes from places to eat.

Stayed at many baymont locations. This is the worst. Dirty rooms. Dirty beds. Dirty couch. Dog food on floor. Holes in walls. Garbage still in can. Towels and wash cloth had barely any thread left in them. Place needs updated and evertything replaced. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

They were renovating so there was construction going on every where. The first room they gave us was already inhabited by someone else. When we finally got to our room it was actually pretty nice.

Booked through Expedia but hotel didn’t have confirmed reservation. Sent 3 hours on phone with Expedia and hotel. Spent the entire night in parking lot and lobby.

The place was loaded with drug addicts and drug dealers. The manager was rude and a complete Ahole when I asked to cancel my reservation so I got charged one night.

My daughter was told if she needed sheets for the pull out couch, they would charge her $15 per day to make it. She made it herself. The place was located right off the highway where people were standing there asking for money. The tub's had to be recleaned by us. It was more of a place where people go for a few hours of pleasure. The bedding was not properly cleaned. I will not be going back again. The only reason we stayed was no other hotels were available.

I had a great experience the first time I was here so I went back. Just fine this time, too, except check out guy was on his cell phone though and was rude. All good though. Good rooms at a cheap price. I’ll head back when I need to.

During check in, the attendant was dressed sloppily to be greeting guests, and was barefoot and had an open wound on his leg wrapped up! The room was presentable, however, we registered for a non-smoking room and the room smelled of strong cigarette smoke. The overall experience was extremely disappointing and we will never book through this hotel again.

This was the shadiest place. There was running around & crying at 3am! There was some kind of domestic issue going on in the room next door - the girl involved was out banging on their car wanting her man to open the door. There was something happening all night.

The guy who owns it is a really jolly guy. His energy is truly a reason to stay here by itself. His wife and others could learn from him. Their invasiveness & lack of respecting other's personal space , trying to look into my hotel room, while staying there was the only negative. The hotel is a great deal though. Fast interstate access. Literally, 1 minute off exit. Lake Atworth , fishing by the dam is just 5 or so minutes down the street. I caught some bass while there after a quick ride to the next exit for Cabela's. THere's an ingles grocery store just on the other side of the exit . A Publix about another 2 minutes away with a few fast food & mid-level restaurants. Downtown Atworth, by the lake, has a few other quality restaurants. For all the big stores, drive 10 minutes and get on Cobb Parkway. Everything is there, literally. And oh wait, there was a problem. Some of these places like this for some reason have channels that are in Spanish. Not sure if its' a good deal they got and not willing to pay the extra for english or just catering toa differetn demographic.

On my receipt it said that I could cancel the reservation without penalty within 10 minutes of check-in. They refused to issue me a refund and got really rude with me. I do NOT recommend staying here. I don't need a fancy room, but I do require a clean one.

This is the first time I've ever stayed at this brand hotel, but it was a last-minute stay in an area that had a lot going on, so not many hotels were available. ... But it was a great property for what it is. It's a budget hotel, but the room was comfortable. The service was good. Everything was pleasant.

We picked this hotel because it was pet friendly, and we were very thankful for that. Check in was not a good experience. I had a reservation, and apparently they ran my card at 8am that morning before we got there - my bank sent me a fraud notice and I said it was a valid charge. When we got there, the lady at the front desk scolded me saying that she had cancelled my reservation. I explained my bank thought it was a fraudulent charge since we were not anywhere near that state at 8am, and I had hit accept on the bank text alert - I didn't realize it was declined on her end. As I tried to explain, she just interrupted and was very rude. If we did not have the dog with us, we would not have stayed there. The room was also very dirty with stains on the couch and the rug was torn up. We also had to give a $50 pet deposit which was not made clear making the reservation. The room served it's purpose, but the staff could stand to learn some customer service skills.

I liked because their was maybe 2 other guest their, so no waiting,and no unexpected noises good and quite for good sleep..

Despite the exterior looking like a typical roadside motel, it is very clean and well kept on the inside. The rooms are surprisingly spacious, in good condition and clean. There was a loud but short argument of some sort that we could hear inside our rooms in the middle of the night. Besides that, everything was fine. I would stay here again.

The room was decently clean. The shower wasn’t very clean and the shower head had very little water pressure. The clerk that checked me in wasn’t friendly at all. He was short and acted as if our late check in was inconvenient to him.

Very nice pet friendly hotel without an outrageous pet deposit. Right near red Top mountain state park and far enough out of Atlanta.

The location was awesome. The room was comfortable. The breakfast wasn't what we expected and the bed linens had markings on them

My GPS took me to wrong location-also somewhat difficult to see from road as it sits off the road. Need to offer rooms that pets are not allowed for those of us with allergies.

They have a very nasty attitude. We checked in and the room was so hot we had to leave and stay out doing something until it cooled off. Don't stay there.

The staff was awful!! The first room we were put in the AC would not blow any cold air at all. When i complained the woman insisted it qas all in my head and was not ging to allow my family to change rooms. I had to argue for 15 minutes before she would switch us room. They charged qn addition 50 to hold for a security reason but didnt even ask or tell us that was happening prior to her just swiping thr card. Thankfully the second room we were put in was much better. But the staff/owners who walk around barefoot are AWFUL!!!

America's Best In was very clean and quiet. Housekeeping came through everyday to make sure I was ok. The female at the front desk could've used some "better customer service attitude" training, but other than that, my stay was very pleasant. I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially if you're in town for business and need a peaceful evening.

Convenient to Six Flags and Six Flags Whitewatet which is where we went. Pool at hotel is out of order and yes breakfast is a joke. Small pastries (both packaged and not), coffee, juice, milk, cereal is all you get. The place is a bit difficult to find but it's right behind the gas station so that is convenient. Several restaurants are nearby too. The room is ok but ours had the whole seal out on the bottom of the door so daylight could be clearly seen under the door. Decently soft bed too. The manager was a little rude and was walking around barefoot In the office, it seems they live here but it's ok i guess. All in all I'll stay again

The owners where rude , unprofessional, combative and they advertise pet friendly but when you arrive with your pet they have a sign that says any unauthorized pets will be charged a $100 fee so to make sure my reservation was accurate I mentioned my 10lb dog and they tell me no we dont accept pets! So which is it. And being on the road for 13 hours it was not what you want to hear after you have made all accommodations for your trip to insure this doesn't happen.

Although the pics were nice and the hotel was conveniently located next to food and supermarkets but the lady kept on telling me not to smoke in the room about 20 times she didn't tell me when was check out or breakfast just no smoking I keep u money... I was so disappointed after giving her an extra deposit I figured the room would be pretty clean and it was for the most part but the bathroom had black mildew and the toilet was not properly cleaned.... all I was looking for was a home away from home for one night and I was completely harassed... I will definitely not be returning.

Hotel staff friendliness was ok., but as long as room is clean that’s what mattered to us. Surprisingly good coffee for what I expected at the breakfast. Great quality TV. We would stay there again.

Couch needed steam cleaning...could not sit on it was stained. They provide no imenities such as soap and shampoo..no blowdryer for your hair. Domestic arguing outside..from other guests staying there...overall they are better choices if u want a better experience other than just a place to sleep.

1st time staying here that we have gotten a nice clean room (we have stayed a few times now) the owner (wife) is ALWAYS extremely rude and will start talking in her native language very angrily and all the while looking at you, she is just plain nasty! Then to top it off my car was hit overnight/early am and when i asked them if they could look at their cameras they informed me they did not have any but i could clearly see monitors in the room next to the front office!!
